John Connolly is a founding partner of John Connolly & Partners Pty Ltd, a specialist public relations and government affairs firm which advises senior executives of large public and private sector organisations in Australia and overseas. He has more than 30 years experience in international public relations and public affairs.

Prior to establishing John Connolly & Partners in June 1992, John was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Pacific operations the world's largest public relations company. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the five person executive committee of the world-wide firm.

John has counselled some of the largest corporations in the US, Canada and Europe and a number of US State Governments on public affairs in Asia. He also advised Asian governments and corporations on public affairs issues inside and outside the region.

At JC&P he has worked on some of the most difficult issues in financial and public relations for a range of global corporations. They include advising both sides on the mergers of two of the world's largest resource companies, advice to the New York Stock Exchange and ongoing advice to one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.

He advises the chief executives of seven of Australia's twenty largest companies as well as the chief executives and chairmen of a number of US and European based companies.
