Public Relations International is a joint venture company involving WMC Communications in London and the Russian Press Institute in Moscow, a subsidiary of TASS, the fourth largest news agency in the world. The Company was formed to provide communications services to Russian companies, organisations and governments seeking to expand their operations and their awareness in Europe and the United States, and for international companies penetrating the growing market for goods and services that pertains in Russia and the independent former Soviet republics.

Good communications has long been seen as a vital factor in achieving success, particularly when a company is crossing cultural, as well as geographical boundaries. Public Relations International makes that possible. The joint venture has been the brainchild of TASS Chairman Vitaliy Ignatenko, formerly press-attaché to President Gorbachev, and David Wynne-Morgan, Chairman and CEO of WMC Communications and formerly President and CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s leading international public relations agencies.
